Do you rent suits? Yes. We speclialize in tuxedos, however we do carry a black as well as a charcoal grey suit line.

Do you sell used tuxedos? Yes, we sell used tuxedos and the price will vary according to size, style, availability and condition. We also sell new tuxedos starting at $295.00

When do I wear a tuxedo? A tuxedo is the proper attire when you are invited to a "black tie" or a "white tie" gala, when you are attending a wedding (or participating in one!) or a graduation ball.

I’ve never worn a tuxedo. How do I know what to wear? With today’s wealth of choice in tuxedo styles, trust your formal wear specialist to be your guide in choosing your tuxedo and accessories. They will help you select the right tuxedo for your build and body shape.

What is the proper fit for a tuxedo?
The coat: It should fit comfortably across the shoulder. On most styles, the body should be long enough for the coat to brush the insides fo your fingers when your hand is cupped around the bottom.
Sleeves: Each should fall just below the wristbone.
Collar: It should comfortably hug the neck.
Trousers: Worn at the waist. They must not grab the hip or thigh allowing the pleats to fall naturally, and the length should brush the shoe tops.
Vests: The vests should be adjusted at the neck so that the bottom of the vest covers the waistband of the trousers, hiding the slide adjustments.

How early in advance should I book my tuxedo? In most cases, 3 months is sufficient time to book your preferred style of tuxedo and vest. In certain cases you may walk in one week prior to the event, or even on the same day and still be able to book your preferred style of tuxedo. However, we do recommend that you give yourself some margin of time.

Who usually selects the wedding tuxedos? The bride and the groom. The specifics of your wedding concerning style, formality and time of day will effect your decision. Look through our catalog or come by Karl's for additional information.

What happens if something doesn't fit? Your event has to be cancelled.... Just kidding! Make sure you and all the members of your party try on their tuxedos when they pick them up. By allowing yourself extra time, one of our highly qualified staff members can make whatever changes are needed for that perfect fit.

Can all the men in our wedding party wear tails? Absoulutely! It is most appropriate when the bridesmaids' gowns are very formal.

Do all tuxedos have a satin stripe down the sides? Yes.

When should I select my prom tuxedo? It's best to select your tuxedo three to four weeks before the prom. We can fill last minute orders with as little as 48 hours notice. Making your selection early will insure you of the most complete selection.

Do I have to match my dates gown? Though not mandatory, it's fun to coordinate the colors of your vest with your date's gown. We offer the latest fashion vests in a variety of colors to make this possible.

What is included in the rental package? The basic package includes: Tuxedo jacket, trousers, formal shirt, a bow tie and matching cummerbund. You can rent additional items, such as formal shoes, fancy vests, cufflinks, button covers, and pocket squares. We also have formal socks and hats available for purchase.
